Bynum Front Porch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to enrich our community through a variety of activities and events. Throughout the year, we host music and storytelling shows that bring people together and celebrate local talent.
We manage the Bynum General Store and its grounds as a vibrant community center and performance venue. Our activities include community picnics and dinners, workshops, jam sessions, and events for Boy and Girl Scouts. Additionally, we offer the store space to individuals and other non-profits for their gatherings.
In our commitment to education, we award three $1,000 grants annually to Chatham County students who are the first in their family to attend college.
